Hello sir!
I am Monique Agonos a third year student from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod
ng Maynila(PLM), currently taking Bachelor of Science in Computer
Studies Major in Information Technology. Our class will be organizing a
seminar in partial
fulfillment of the requirements of the subject Principles on Operating
Systems on the last week of January next year. It will be held at the
Bulwagang Manileno ,PLM from 2:00PM - 5:00 PM. We have chosen the Linux
to be the topic of the seminar (Fedora, Redhat if possible). A specific
distribution, if preferred by the speaker would be possible.
As far as we know Linux is an operating system that can run on a pc just
like Windows. But unlike the latter, it gives additional power which we
are not so familiar about and it's free. We believe this is an
interesting topic to discuss since only few students have knowledge on
this system software and we want to know more about this. It will be
participated by 100 students and some faculty members from College of
Engineering and Technology. In line with this, we are requesting for
some help from you by referring to us a resource speaker that will
discuss this topic.
We are hoping for the most favourable response you could extend to us.
